Empathic listening as an enabler from transformation

Asking questions is an art. It is easy to tell people what to do, but in doing so, you take full responsibility for the outcome. As a coach, this also risks projecting your own limiting beliefs and biases onto the client. A good coach peels back the layers of a client's thoughts to reach the core of their values, allowing them to align their decisions and actions to truly enhance their lives.

True coaching means acting as a facilitator, enabling clients to find answers for themselves through deep, thought-provoking questions. This "ah-ha" moment is where real transformation happens. Being with a coach who fully supports them, sees their potential, and believes in them completely is energizing. Ultimately, deep questions paired with empathetic listening will always work better than telling a client what to do.
